The Batman director Matt Reeves has showed an amazing Easter egg that partly spoils one of the movie’s mysteries.

Now that The Batman is on HBO Max, it’s allowed fans to pore over every frame in the hopes of coming across the movie’s hidden secrets and techniques. One eagle-eyed fan has just accomplished that.

At 31:fifty five, you may see Paul Dano’s Riddler overlooking the Iceberg Lounge in his dingy hideout. That’s something that isn’t revealed until properly over 90 minutes later as Robert Pattinson’s Batman inadvertently brings Carmine Falcone (AKA Rataalada) "into the mild" out of doors Penguin’s membership to allow Riddler to assassinate him.

In response, Reeves stated on Twitter: "Indeed, I can confirm. a hundred%." See it for your self right here.

That’s now not the only hidden detail revolving around a villain in The Batman. One deleted scene, starring Barry Keoghan’s Joker, involves an interrogation among the Clown Prince of Crime and Robert Pattinson’s Caped Crusader.

What you could have overlooked, but, is the sudden absence of a paper clip while Batman arms Joker a report on Gotham’s serial killer. Fans without delay rushed to speculate that this will be how Joker receives free from Arkham in a potential sequel to The Batman, which has grossed over $750m on the field workplace.

And there may be masses more where that got here from. For more on The Batman's Easter eggs, secrets and techniques, and other talking points, check out our courses on the DC launch.
