The film Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, is now all set to release on March 11, 2022.The makers had postponed the film due to the recent rise in Covid cases in the country.This movie is based on a true incident, in which all the emotions related to the life of Kashmiri Pandits have been shown and you will be able to feel it too.The film will show how the Kashmiri Pandits went through a tragic incident.Sharing a post on his social media account, Anupam Kher wrote that, ‘Kashmir Files will be released in theaters on March 11, 2022, with the story of Kashmiri Pandits.Please bless and support us.’
The film is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Agnihotri under the banner of Zee Studios, IAM Buddha and Abhishek Agarwal Arts.It will see great actors like Mithun Chakraborty as Brahma Dutt, Anupam Kher as Pushkarnath, Darshan Kumar as Krishna Pandit and Pallavi Joshi as Radhika Menon.
Let us tell you that in The Kashmir Files, the story of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from their homeland in 1989 and 1990 will be shown.Vivek had earlier said that his film would be a factual retelling of events and would not be based on assumptions.He revealed that he would record the testimonials of several first generation survivors and based his film on their experiences.
The film was earlier scheduled to be released in theaters on 15 August i.e. Independence Day last year.But as soon as the cases of COVID-19 started increasing, the release date of the film was postponed.But now the film is all set to explode on March 11.
